Better Marriage Minute

It may not have been what you expected when you said your "I Do's" but it is part of the growing and maturing process of life.

1 Corinthians 7:28   But those who marry will face many troubles in this life

Opposites attract so you should expect conflict and differences of opinion in marriage.  Learning to deal with conflict in a mature and productive way provides part of the "life skills" that we need to succeed in life and glorify our heavenly Father.  After all, everyone that we share the love of Christ with will not initially be "Angels".  Marriage is a wonderful training ground to love others when they are not loveable, and to learn to forgive others even when they may not deserve it.  Christ did this for us.  What a tremendous example He set for us.  Let's put it into practice in our marriages.
