Here’s your last reminder to reserve your family’s place at “Lunch after Church” this Sunday by shooting me an email. I need to know if your family is coming by Thursday at noon. Remember all family’s with last names beginning with A-M bring desserts and N-Z bring sides. (Larger portions please!!) Each person is asked to donate $1 toward the chicken.
Be sure to register for the Fall Marriage Retreat this Sunday. You will find registration brochures at all the campuses this week. The $150 per couple covers all meals, materials and a gift for each couple. There will also be great giveaways!!! The dates are October 9-11. Speakers are Misty and I, Pastor Anthony and Sheila Calvert, Joe and Cecilia Phillips, and Larry and Betsy Heath. Don’t miss out!!!!
Well, July 4th has come and gone. What's next??? This Sunday begins a new series in our Sunday am connect class that will be monumental in your life. It is entitled "Counter Attack". We will discuss how you can mount an offensive against Satan's attempts to get a foothold in your life and marriage. Many of our struggles these days stem from us leaving a little crack in the door for Satan to get through. Mostly due to the fact we don't want to face truth, or we like to keep a certain dark area for ourselves. I want to challenge all of you who can to attend. Remember, Satan does not want you to hear this information. He will use whatever influence he can to keep you away. Make sure you invite other couples. Seek them out! Don't wait for a chance meeting. Let's do our job! See you Sunday...
